I spent many years photographing things almost exclusively in Black and White but really seem to have got out of the habit somewhat since becoming exclusively digital.
Last night I picked up a FREE download of Silver FX Pro and am liking the results that can be made with it.
The main reason I used to use BW film was because I could control the whole process from begining to end in my home built darkroom, just loved completing the process.
Silver FX Pro seems to give me that control within my digital darkroom, giving me the opportunity to experiment and create BW images that I am happy with, without to much aggravation.
It enables me to emulate some of the film stock that I used to use, and is infinitely adjustable and gives me darkroom like doging and burning facilities.
I would certainly recommend trying this software..
